About Mad River Garden Center
For
over 20 years the The Mad River Garden Center has
been serving the Mad River Valley. We are locally
owned and operated by the Read Family.
 Located
on Route 100 in beautiful Waitsfield, Vermont we
offer year-round, property maintenance, landscaping,
nursery & greenhouses, garden center, and a
full-service floral department.
Ed Read, owner and operator of the Mad River Garden
Center has been working to grow the range and depth
of offerings at the MRGC since his purchase in 2001.
In
2009 Ed Read established Mad
River Property Management and will be offering
services to residential as well as commercial customers.
Some of the basic services include, property checks,
lawn care and maintenance, light carpentry, masonry,
snowplow removal, and shoveling of walkways and
roofs. These are just a few of the many services
that MRPM can provide. Please contact

Along with property management, MRGC offers a wide
arrange of landscape design & services. From
small to large scale projects you know you will
be getting personalized quality service from MRGC
at a reasonable price. We have a variety of equipment
on hand to get the job done right. Installation
of perennial gardens, hardscape projects, trees
and shrubs, rock and retaining walls, walkways and
patio's are our specialties. The crew at the Mad
River Garden Center takes pride in what they do
and it shows in there quality of workmanship.
 At
the Mad River Garden Center (MRGC) we are renowned
for our pottery, artistic and functional bird feeders,
great choice of greeting cards and helium balloons,
houseplants, and fantastic gardening gifts.
In
the winter we can help you with seasonal greenery
and decorations so you can celebrate the holidays
in style.
Year round we offer a full service floral department.
We pride ourselves on our fresh flowers and floral
arrangements that we can create for you ahead of
time or while you wait. Need it delivered? Floral
and balloon bouquet deliveries are available upon
request.
