Landscaping Design & Services
At
The Mad River Garden Center we have an on-site nursery
with hundreds of varieties of shrubbery, many locally
grown and cultivated trees and perennials, and a
vast selection of annuals.
 To
accent your property, we are able to plant trees
and shrubs, as well as install and maintain perennial
gardens, and lawns.
Using
the hundreds of varieties of hardy perennials in
our nursery, we can create beautiful gardens that
will last for years to come. We know Vermont has
hard winters for plants, and we only install those
we know will be able to thrive.
Building
a house or moving into a newly built property? We
would love to help you design and maintain your lawn,
gardens and stonework.
 In
addition to planting we have a stone crew that specializes
in walls, patios and terraced gardens. Using stone
harvested from a local quarry, our stone crew can
build into existing ledges or take a newly planted
lawn and create terraces for sitting areas and other
gardens.
We
are also available for interior winter stonework.
 With
two skid steers and one mini excavator on site,
we are able to move the largest trees, shrubs and
stones to turn even the largest landscape plans
into realities.
With
the aforementioned machines, we are also able to
improve drainage on your property and clear brush
and trees.
